With the CEREC system, we can now provide same-day crowns. This computerized system captures an image of the damaged tooth using an intraoral camera, and Dr. Joy designs the crown chairside. The computerized design is then sent to the in-office milling unit which carves the crown in 10-15 minutes. The CEREC system eliminates the need for temporaries and second visits, while providing a perfect fit.
